North Wales Pole Competition
The North Wales Pole Competition has been organised to give pole students and professionals of all abilities in North Wales an opportunity to compete in a local venue. All schools in the area have been invited to take part, and any individual’s within the area independent of a school are also welcome to compete.
Any profits made from this event will be donated to the Happy Faces Children’s Charity Reg: 1101620. Their aim is to raise awareness and money for under privileged children in North Wales. The charity raises money to buy specialist equipment for children such as: mini buses, wheel chairs, computers, sensory equipment and touch screen pads. They also organise events such as Christmas parties, trips to the zoo/theme parks and discos.
Croeso i Gystadleuaeth Polyn Gogledd Cymru 2010
Maes cystadleuaeth dawnsio polyn Gogledd Cymru wedi ei drefnu i roi cyfle i myfyrwyr dawnsio polyn, ac myfyrwyr proffesiynol, o alluoedd holl waith yng Ngogledd Cymru cyfle i gystadlu mewn lleoliad lleol. Mae holl ysgolion yn yr ardal wedi'u gwahodd i gymryd rhan, ac mae unrhyw unigolyn annibynnol o fewn ardal o ysgol yn hefyd croeso i gymryd rhan.
Bydd unrhyw elw hon o'r digwyddiad cael ei roi i cronfa y plant wynebau's hapus, Reg elusen: 1,101,620. Eu nod yw codi ymwybyddiaeth ac arian ar gyfer plant o dan fraint yng Ngogledd Cymru. Mae'r elusen yn codi arian i brynu offer arbenigol ar gyfer plant o'r fath fel, bysiau mini, cadeiriau olwyn, cyfrifiaduron, offer synhwyraidd a phadiau chyffwrdd screen. Maent hefyd yn trefnu digwyddiadau fel partïon Nadolig, ymweliadau â sw / parciau thema a disgos.
Our Competition will be opened by 3 very different dance acts from around Wales.
Llandudno Lightning Cheerleaders
Llandudno Lightning Cheerleaders began in September 2008 and have over 10 members. This year they are hoping to go to some away matches with the Llandudno Lightening Basketball team, enter into national competitions, be at fundraising events, and become the best in North Wales. They are trained by highly qualified Ultramodern coaches. The cheerleaders will be showing off their skills on stage during the night, and encouraging all the competitors. Cheerleaders are: Shauna Thomas, Lina Davies, Rachel Roberts, Clare Roberts, Rhiannon Jones and Sasha Handley.

Break 'n' Spin Street Dancers
Break 'n' Spins fantastic street dancers will open the show. They are a relatively new group of boys and girls of all ages from 10 years old to adults. All choreography is created by Ffion Williams who has been teaching children and adults alike all types of dance from ballet and tap to street dance for 5 years. Polly Lagdon
Polly Lagdon is a young teenager fast becoming recognised in the dance world. Polly is completely self taught and has been dancing all her life. Polly has competed in many competitions, this year alone she has competed in the Urdd Eistedfodd dance competition and was placed 3rd in the welsh nationals for both her solo routine and her group dance. Polly is also competing in the United Dance Organisation this January. Polly favours hip-hop, street, and contempory dance and has recently begun taking up pole; her future ambitions to be a professional choreographer and we wish her all the very best for the future.
